"MORNING DANCE"

Caesar Creek Lake State Park - Waynesville, Ohio, U.S.A., 2022

An adult double-crested cormorant dries its wings in the morning sun. Despite being avid waterfowl, they do not have waterproof feathers so they often wing spread to keep their feathers healthy and dry. The cormorant closer to the camera has the plumage of a juvenile.

I took a tumble in a slippery ravine to get this image. I was okay, but my lens was not. This image was the last taken before the focus motor in my lens died from the damage it sustained.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ECO-FRIENDLY FRAMES:

-If your print is larger than 11x14, please dust it with water and a soft cloth only. Harsh cleaning solvents can damage the styrene panel used in large frames.

-Framed prints 11x14 or smaller may be dusted with glass cleaner.
